Understand the target role

Ask which jobs the program prepares you to pursue and how the learning relates to those responsibilities. Be specific about your background, location and goals.

A clear answer should help you understand the direction of the program without suggesting that enrollment alone secures a job.

Look closely at the learning experience

Ask to see a sample lesson, exercise or program outline. Find out how practical work is reviewed and what happens when you need help.

  • Who designs and teaches the curriculum?
  • What is the expected weekly commitment?
  • How does technical coaching work?
  • Which certifications are included, and who pays exam fees?

Ask what career support includes

CV reviews, interview practice and job-search coaching are different services. Ask what you can expect, how you access support and how long it is available.

If outcomes or testimonials are shared, ask which program and cohort they relate to and how the results were measured.

Get the full offer in writing

Review the final tuition, included services, possible extra costs and enrollment terms before paying. If financing is offered, read the provider’s terms as well as the program’s terms.

You should have time to understand the commitment and ask questions. A useful admissions conversation makes the decision clearer.
